His father was an editor, and his mother was a businesswoman and writer, so he grew up surrounded by books.\u00a0Talley wrote weekly columns for the <em>Carmel Valley Sun<\/em> in the late 1990\u2019s, as well as <em>The Rogue Voice<\/em> of San Luis Obispo from 2007 to 2009. He won awards at Santa Barbara Writers Conference in 2006 and 2007 for fiction in the horror\/sci-fi\/fantasy category. His story \u201cPoisoned\u201d appeared in <em>Iconoclast<\/em> magazine in 2007. Talley\u2019s dystopian near future thriller <em>Yesterday We Forget Tomorrow<\/em> was published by Damnation Books in 2014. Talley&#8217;s curated anthology <em>Delirium Corridor<\/em> debuted in December 2020, with two of his stories, his cover &amp; interior artwork, and twelve other excellent writers. Talley&#8217;s literary fiction collection, <em>My Secret Place<\/em>, came out from Main Street Rag Books in 2022 and <em>When The Night Breathes Electric<\/em> debuted in 2023 from Noleta Press\/SBLJ Books. his 3rd collection, <em>Destroy Me Gently, Please<\/em> was published by Serving House Books in spring 2025, followed by <em>Peace, Love &amp; Haight<\/em>. Look out for <em>Santa Fe Psychosis<\/em>\u00a0in May 2026!<\/p>\n<p>Since 2014, Talley\u2019s stories have appeared in <em>Two Cities Review, Iconoclast, Chantwood, The Opiate, Fiction Southeast, Hofstra University &#8211; Windmill, <\/em>two<em> Hardboiled<\/em> anthologies, <em>Del Sol Review<\/em>, <em>Broke Bohemian, Thoughtful Dog, Bull &amp; Cross, Black Dandy, Devolution Z, The Gateway Review<\/em>, &amp; <em>Gold Man Review. <\/em>Since 2018, he&#8217;s been in <em>Abstract Magazine, Bridge Eight,<\/em> <em>Gravel, Santa Barbara Literary Journal, Entropy, Litro, Santa Fe Lit Review, Inlandia, Digging Press, FILTH, Atticus Review, <\/em><em>Santa Fe Writers Project, Litbreak, The Dark City, Gargoyle, Underwood, Running Wild Press, Jokes Review, Pocket Fiction,<\/em><em> Bookends Review, Maudlin House, Black Cat Mystery Magazine, K&#8217;in, Dillydoun Review, Chariot Press, Abandon Journal, Whiskey Tit, About Place, Eckleburg, Iron Horse Lit Review, &amp;<\/em><em>\u00a0The Saturday Evening Post<\/em>. He lives on the long lonely road between New Mexico &amp; Southern California.
